Here’s how to view and respond to reviews, and check your app’s performance metrics, in Softonic Publishing Center.
What should I know about reviews?
Reviews are written by Softonic end users and are associated with a specific application. A review may include a star rating and a written comment.
- Developers cannot edit or delete reviews.
- Review responses are public and visible on the application’s product page.
- Softonic may moderate reviews that violate usage policies.
How do I view and respond to reviews?
- Go to the Softonic Publishing Center.
- Open the application you want to manage.
- Go to the Reviews section.
From here, you can see all received reviews and the average rating.
When responding to reviews:
- Maintain a respectful and professional tone.
- Thank users for positive feedback.
- Offer help or context when addressing negative feedback.
- Avoid requesting personal data in your responses.
How do I check my app’s metrics?
Metrics let you monitor your app’s performance on Softonic and understand how users interact with it.
- Metrics are only available for applications managed under your organization.
- Displayed data is indicative and may be updated with some delay.
- Some metrics may not be available for all applications.
To view them:
- Go to the Softonic Publishing Center.
- Open the application for which you want to view metrics.
- Go to the Metrics section.

You can filter by country, operating system, and date range. The dashboard shows:
- Conversion rate, downloads, and total visits, each with a trend chart over the selected period.
- Download types: a breakdown of downloads by operating system, by country, and by version (Top 10 for each).
