Is claiming my app free?

Yes. Registering, claiming your listing and managing it cost nothing.

Do I have to leave Google Play?

No. Softonic is an additional distribution and discovery channel that works alongside Google Play, the App Store or any other store you already use.

What happens if I don’t claim it?

Nothing happens to the listing: it stays up. But it shows whatever is on file, you can’t update it or reply to users, and you can’t see how it performs.

Can I ask you to remove my app?

Yes. If you hold the rights and don’t want your app on Softonic, you can request its removal through a DMCA request.
