Delete account

You can delete your Softonic Publishing Center account directly from your profile if you no longer wish to use the platform.

Account deletion is permanent and results in the removal of your personal data and loss of access to the Publishing Center.

Before deleting your account

Please consider the following:

• Once deleted, you will not be able to access the account again.
• All your personal and session data will be permanently removed.
• This action cannot be undone.
• If you are the sole owner or administrator of an organization, it will be left without an owner and may be claimed again.

How to delete your account

1. Log in to the Softonic Publishing Center.
2. Go to My profile.
3. Locate the Delete my account option.
4. Click the corresponding button.
5. Confirm the action in the confirmation modal.

If the process is successful:

• You will see the message “Your account has been successfully deleted.”
• You will be redirected to the Publishing Center home page.
• If you were the only owner or administrator of an organization, it will remain without an owner and may be claimed again.

Delete an application

You can delete an application from the Softonic Publishing Center to keep your app list organized and remove unnecessary or unused programs.

Application deletion is permanent and is only available for unpublished applications.

Before deleting an application

Please note:

• Applications that are already published cannot be deleted from the Publishing Center.
• Only applications that have never been published can be deleted.
• This action cannot be undone.
• If the application is already published, you must contact support to request its removal.

How to delete an unpublished application

1. Go to the Softonic Publishing Center.
2. Open the My Apps section.
3. Locate the application you want to delete.
4. Open the application options menu (three-dot icon).
5. Select Delete.
6. Confirm the action in the confirmation modal.

If the process is successful:

• You will see the message “The application has been successfully deleted.”
• You will be redirected to the My Apps list.
